Responsible Gaming

This page sets out habits that keep gambling contained and explains what this site can and cannot do for someone who wants to cut back or stop. Gambling here is meant only for adults aged eighteen and over, a restriction repeated throughout the site, including on the front page.

Practical Habits

Decide the amount before you start, while your judgement is not shaped by a recent win or loss. A number chosen in advance is a boundary. A number chosen mid-session tends to move.

Treat that amount as already spent, as you would the price of a cinema ticket. If you expect it back, every loss feels like a debt to recover, and that feeling drives longer sessions.

Never chase a loss. Raising stakes to win back money assumes the next result is somehow owed to you, but each outcome is independent. Chasing usually turns a small loss into a large one.

Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Credit, loans or money set aside for bills add interest and real consequences to an activity meant to be entertainment, and they remove the natural stopping point that an empty budget provides.

Take breaks. Stepping away interrupts the rhythm of quick repeated play, gives you a moment to check the time and your balance, and makes it easier to decide calmly whether to continue.

Involve someone else early if gambling stops feeling like entertainment, for example if you hide it, think about it constantly or feel anxious about money. Talking to a person you trust helps before the problem grows, not only after.

Account controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion are something you arrange inside your own account at the destination, because this build has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one on, check one or enforce one.

Help Links

Every page of this site, this one included, carries links to five independent sources of gambling help: BeGambleAware, Gamble Aware, Gambling Therapy, G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here, and NCPG. They appear in the help-link area of each page. They are the only non-commercial outbound links on the site. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when you follow them.

No one's age is verified on this site, and no gambling takes place here. Any age check happens at the destination. These pages contain no advertising or behavioural profiling network, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on signs of risky behaviour.
